Twelve sites at various parks in unincorporated areas, will serve Thanksgiving dinner to those who need it and combat hunger and loneliness during the holidays. City photo contest spotlights winter LA MIRADA – The city is accepting submissions for its Winter Photo Contest, open to professional and amateur photographers of all ages. All photos must be taken in the city limits. Contestants must fill out an entry form and waiver before submitting photos. The categories are people, public places and nature. Only three submissions are allowed per person. Prizes include a pair of tickets to the La Mirada Theater for Performing Arts.
